My Philosophy

I have been in the ministry of helping individuals, families and couples most of my adult life. I balance concerns while allowing the Holy Spirit to guide me in ministering to individuals of all ages, couples, and families. I strive to meet people where they are, help them understand their strengths, and aid in the empowerment of taking charge and developing their lives. Since I believe God is working within me, I am humbled by His direction over my life to help others and am honored to meet and work with all individuals.

My Approach

You will be encouraged to look at the story you tell about your life. Even if you were powerless in the past, it's possible to have some control in the present. You'll learn to respond thoughtfully rather than react self destructively to what life throws in your direction.  I'll help you be kind with yourself as you learn new tools and overcome even long entrenched patterns.

My Word

“He comforts us in our afflictions, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction” ~ 2 Corinthians 1:4

My Philosophy

“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves” – Viktor Frankl.

My Approach

From a counseling perspective, my approach is to empower clients, provide the appropriate services, and foster the changes that are necessary for moving your life forward with sustainable change.  I believe that with Christ ahead of me and working through me, I will be more than capable to assist you with your needs and healing.

My Word

“Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you.  Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others” – Colossians 3:13
