Ludi Acevedo is a Texas native. She grew up on the border by the sea in Brownsville and at 15 moved to San Antonio. She received her bachelor’s degree in Development Family Studies from the University of North Texas in 2011. She is currently pursuing a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University which will be finished in August 2020.
At the age of 24, Ludi made Jesus her Lord and Savior and made the decision to be baptized. For the last 8 years, she has attended a Bible believing church. She has been active serving in the children’s, campus, singles, women and benevolent ministries. Ludi spent three years as a missionary in Bolivia working with youth and families living in poverty. Ludi has worked and volunteered with children, teenagers and families for the last 15 years in different capacities. She completed her student therapist internship at Abiding Hope. She has worked in after-school programs, elementary schools, orphanages, non-profits, summer camps and has taught different skill- building classes. As a Youth and Family Specialist Coach, Ludi uses her education, her faith and her passion to help others bloom where they are planted. Ludi truly believes that God is our ultimate healer and bases her work off scriptures. She knows that prayer is powerful and uses that in her work. Through coaching, Ludi can help you achieve personal, spiritual and professional goals. She will provide structure, guidance and encouragement as you learn different skills. Ludi enjoys reading, volunteering, essential oils, watching movies and anything Disney and Harry Potter related. |
