Kelly was born and raised in Texas. She has been married to her college sweetheart for 17 years. She received her B.A. in Marketing from Texas Tech University and she worked in the business field for a few years before becoming a mother to two girls. Kelly was a stay-at-home mom for 10 years before deciding that it was time for a career change. It was her work with women in her church that led her to her passion for helping others. She received her Master’s in Counseling from Wayland Baptist University. She has been a student at Abiding Hope and is now continuing her work as an LPC-Associate.
Kelly has been an Christian for most of her life. She attends and is active in a Bible believing church. She currently teaches Sunday School to fifth grade girls. Her faith and relationship with Jesus Christ is the foundation of her entire life. She uses the power of the Holy Spirit to guide her, both personally and professionally. Kelly’s passion is helping women who are dealing with depression, anxiety and everyday life issues. She believes in meeting each person where they are and celebrating the uniqueness of others. What is special about Kelly’s counseling style is her ability to combine clinical and spiritual discernment during counseling sessions. She actively prays for her clients as well. Kelly is available to work with individuals, families, couples and adolescents. |
